DESCRIPTION

Works under the direction of the PA, their designee, or the RN Consultant. Administers medication and renders first aid and subsequent treatment to injured or ill clients. Is responsible for recording and charting of all medication during duties related to nursing.

1 part-time position is available.

Hours: Vary

Pay: LPN's start at $16.50 and RN's start at $18.50.

Location: Searcy, AR.

DUTIES

Insures that the facility is in compliance with ICF/DD regulations as it pertains to nursing care.

Administers prescribed and treatment medications.

Follows Individual Client's Self-Administer Program as outlined in the client's IPP.

Responsible for ordering and receiving medications and other documentation required by ICF/DD regulations in regards to the medicine program.

Ensures accurate count and documentation of controlled medications/substances and prepares the return of unused controlled drugs to the Health Department as required by law.

Documents in client medical record as required by facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Arkansas. Ability to work well with others and experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Must possess current Arkansas Driver's license, have current auto liability insurance coverage, and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas.
