Position Summary

The Department of Surgery seeks a Media Specialist, Principal to transform curriculum into interactive web-based format access; recommend purchasing, maintain and integrate web software for use with curriculum, students, teachers and distance collaboration; design, customize, coordinate, maintain and scale the web site for the VCRC/Q.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Focus on the development of new neurosciences modules and the module template for further expansion. * Facilitate dissemination of the VCRC/Q program through web sites, computer linkages to distant sites, teleconferencing and streaming video activities. * Function as the point person for coordination with the Director of the Biomedical Communications in the project for programming activities and ensuring incorporation of the latest state-of-the-art technologies.
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Communications or related field AND four years of media production and design experience which includes one year of supervisory experience; OR, nine years of media production and design experience which includes one year of supervisory experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
