As the Medicaid/Managed Care Coordinator your primary responsibilities include timely and accurate acquisition of ADHP (Adult Day Health Program) authorization from Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) and Medicaid Managed Care (MMC). Position requires maintenance of Medicaid eligibility and contacting MLTC/MMC to obtain authorization. Track insurance changes and coverage for each Registrant regularly. Maintain an accurate list of Registrants MLTC/MMC/Medicaid eligibility beginning and/or ending coverage. Maintain a running list of transportation authorization for Registrants. Enter information from Medical Records or doctor’s orders for assessors into the Uniform Assessment System (UAS).
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma, clerical experience, computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and be organized and structured with excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills.
