Group Health has created exciting opportunities in our new Medical Home Model Integrated Practice.
Attend daily huddles; Anticipate visit support needs by reviewing reason for visit & last visit summary. Review daily schedule with provider to identify specific needs for visit.
Prior to provider appointment time complete admission of patient and document weight, VS, reason for visit (1-2 comments) & concerns or questions patient wants provider to address. Review current medications, add historical meds.
This position will cover the following Medical Center:
Bellevue Medical Center
Minimum Education Requirements
Vocational School/Certificate Prog High School/GED. Graduate of accredited program as Medical Assistant.
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Basic or limited Knowledge and skills listed on the Group Health Medical Assistant Competencies/Skills Inventory.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
Able to obtain shortly after hire Medical Assistant or EMT certification or eligibility.
