We are currently hiring for a Medical Director or Senior Medical Director (level depends on experience, education, etc.) for our Neuroscience Division.

Ideally, this position would be based in our Maidenhead, England, office but we may consider remotely-based physicians.

As a Medical Director, Neuroscience, you will play a key role in providing scientific expertise in the design and implementation of protocols within this therapeutic area.

Responsibilities for our Medical Director include:

-Supporting our operations

- Participating in business development, including setting and implementing marketing strategies to enhance our company’s visibility and position in the marketplace

-Assist in evaluation and prioritization of study opportunities within the Neuroscience therapeutic area

-Assist in the development and implementation of feasibility assessments for specific study projects

-Develop, review and revise protocols, case report forms, medical responsibility plans, adverse event reporting plans, training materials, project specific tools, analysis plans design, clinical trial reports and new drug applications.

-Participate in process improvement activities across Covance.

-Serving as co-leader of Project teams in partnership with Project Directors

-Providing medical, technical and scientific contributions to business development proposals

-Training of internal and external stakeholders on diseases, study drugs and protocols in assigned projects

-Serving as point of contact for sponsor project physicians

Education/Qualifications
-M.D. degree with postgraduate training and board eligibility in Psychiatry

Experience
-Five years minimum experience in drug development process and extensive experience in clinical research

-Ability to represent Covance during client, industry and medical meetings

-Strong leadership skills, and strong oral and written communications skills
to work independently as well as within a team environment
