Provides administrative and project support of a complex nature to the Program Director for specific educational program(s). Responsible for coordinating the administration of the Residency Program(s), including maintaining reimbursement logs, maintaining resident files and management of the program budget. Assist in the primary management and supervision of the resident physicians in the department . Provides support to other residency programs in area of special expertise.

Edu:
Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration or Health Care related field or equivalent work experience.

Exper:
Three to five years in medical education or related healthcare environment with progressively more responsibility providing the coordination and administrative support to a department/program.

Skill:
Highly developed communication skills to assist in the work with a variety of Physicians, Medical Students and other Health Care personnel, patients and families.

Skill:
Excellent written communication skills for the preparation of correspondence, minutes, reports, and summaries; Computer experience with programs such as Word Perfect, Excel Spread Sheet, etc..

Skill:
Analytical skills necessary to interpret data of a complex nature; Familiar with medical terminology; Ability to deal with physicians in a confident manner including the ability to enforce disciplinary actions.

Skill:
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in all respects to materials and information related to the program and other hospital business; Familiar with financial aspects of program management including budgeting.
