We Are Seeking:

Job Title: Medical Informaticist/Manager, Medical Informatics

Department: Medical Affairs

This position will collaborate with Software, Data Sciences, and commercial groups within Proteus, as well as external partners and customers, to translate device data, alerts, and other patient clinical data into meaningful and actionable clinical insights to facilitate patient care under various contexts (clinical trials, commercial trials, commercialization).

Responsibilities include:

  • Define what information and insights are needed by whom, when, and for what purpose, and help develop rich and meaningful analytics, visualization, reports, and presentations most appropriate to users based on their role that enable and facilitate clinical insights and actions to improve patient outcomes.

  • Serve as the internal / external clinical expert assisting the organization and customers in the understanding and interpretation of clinical device data, develop and executive an effective communications strategy to ensure appropriate actions based on the data.

  • Work with the Software and Data Sciences team to help develop appropriate algorithms, rules, and predictive analytics to continually enhance the value of information provided to users that improve patient management and clinical outcomes.

  • Lead or co-lead informatics projects and programs encompassing clinical data aggregation efforts, data warehousing, and retrospective research and publications.

  • Are You a Fit?

    You have Medical training and clinical practice experiences (e.g. M.D., RN, Pharm.D ., Ph.D., or closely related background). Medical Informatics coursework or training and a Masters in Informatics would be preferred. You will also possess 1-3 years experience in the application of medical software, medical devices, mobile technology, medical apps in a healthcare setting or within a medical device / pharmaceutical / biotech / payer environment.
