Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging.
Collect lab specimens and perform basic laboratory tests and reporting of results.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of on the job training, including at least a course of study in Medical terminology or Anatomy and Physiology or similar related topics
ASCP Board of Registry Phlebotomy Technician certification, or equivalent national certification must be obtained within one year.
