DESCRIPTION

PACE of the Triad is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk / Clinical Administrative Assistant to maintain medical records according to agency policies and procedures and to provide clerical assistance to the Center Manager and Clinical Team.

DUTIES

The Medical Records portion of the position requires: creating, maintaining, and organizing patient files; responding to requests for medical records; processing letters and reports; filing patient data; maintaining filing statistics; auditing filing sequence. The clinical administrative assistant portion of the position requires: typing and editing daily clinical meeting minutes and team care plans; typing and editing correspondence and memoranda; assisting with report generation activities such as gathering information, summarizing data, creating graphs and charts, and producing and distributing reports; assisting with the development and distribution of group meeting materials such as agendas, presentations, and meeting minutes; providing timely and accurate documentation to assist with invoice processing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • 1-2 years of medical records experience
  • 1 year experience serving the frail or elderly
  • Administrative assistant experience preferred
