Medical Records Indexer and Office Assistant
Medical terminology/Medical records experience required
Advanced writing and typing skills
Transcription experience a plus
****MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY
Organize medical records by date and category (often hundreds to thousands of pages each)
Scan and upload them
Prepare appropriate documents based on type of case
UPS, fax, or email records
Print large batches of medical records
Must have experience with basic office equipment such as: fax machines, scanners, postage machines, printers, multiline telephones, etc.
Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, etc and must be able to learn new computer programs quickly
Strong ability to multitask
Strong background in office work preferably in the medical field
