DESCRIPTION

Individual needed to provide case management services in School Based setting to children and adolescents.

Works under the direction of a primary therapist in providing extensive on-site, off-site, and crisis stabilization intervention for clients on their established case loads or as determined by therapist or client need. The MHPP II will also provide restricted, rehabilitative day service (RDS) programming at their sites. This service is under the mandate of Medicaid and quality of service must be insured.

Experience working with elementary and preschool children is preferred.

12 Full-time positions are available.

Hours: Daytime, Monday - Friday.

Location: Jacksonville, Sherwood, or Little Rock, and surrounding areas in the PCSSD.

DUTIES

Must attend mental health training to validate competency in the areas specified by accreditation agents.

Must attend training specific to restrictive day service programming and meet approval of therapy staff.

Must complete necessary paperwork for the provision of billing information RDS programming, and services provided.

Will attend scheduled treatment teams to address the needs of clients on their caseloads or as directed by primary therapist in coordination with management team members.

Attends meetings with psychiatrist, or other medical staff, as directed and/or related to mental health needs and issues.

Follows therapist directives and mental health treatment plans for each client.

Works directly with the Mental Health Case Management Coordinator in receiving guidance and assistance related to MHPP II role.

Responsible for communicating issues and concerns about client to treatment team members and works as the lead worker with the MHPP I in providing the best possible service for clients.

Completes RDS schedule and plan. This information is provided to treatment team to insure therapeutic need.

Provide all mental health services related to mental health programming in an appropriate and ethical manner as directed by therapy staff.

Meets whatever criterion is specified by the Mental Health Staff to receive and maintain bonus and salary adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS

**APPLY ONLY IF MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS**

1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services Field.

2. School Teaching will NOT meet the requirements.

3. Minimum of one year providing direct care in a therapeutic setting (outpatient or inpatient or residential), with children/adolescents.

4. Babysitting experience will NOT meet the requirements.

5. Work & Criminal history satisfactory or better.

Must possess current Arkansas driver's license, have current auto liability insurance coverage, and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas Must attend mental health training to validate competency in the areas specified by accreditation agents.
