Windmoor Healthcare, located in Clearwater
Florida is a 120-bed comprehensive behavioral health care facility
that provides a wide range of inpatient and partial hospitalization
programs and services. Our facility has been providing intensive
treatment of dual diagnosis issues and the comprehensive approach is
highly individualized, designed to guide patients and their families
through the process of intervention, assessment and treatment. We are
currently seeking Mental Health Tech(s) (MHT ) to
join our team. The candidate selected will be responsible for the

  • Provides direct care to adult patients
with psychiatric disorders, as well as substance abuse

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the patients.
  • Assist
and monitor patients daily living activities
  • Conduct
patient monitoring and observation (Q-15minute checks) according to
facility policy and procedures.
  • Ability to react
therapeutically in a crisis situation and respond to patients with
empathy and with positive interpersonal skills.


EDUCATION : High school graduate or equivalent
with some college coursework in psychology or related field.
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of related experience
preferred, with knowledge of adult and geriatric patient care
techniques regarding mentally ill or chemically dependent patients.
Strongly prefer a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a
psychiatric hospital setting.

  • Current CPR
  • Current Florida Driver’s License
Must be able to pass the AHCA livescan fingerprinting background
