behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults and
senior adults through a comprehensive, integrated system of inpatient
treatment and residential programs. Our purpose is to offer caring,
effective behavioral health services for children, adolescents,
adults and senior adults throughout North Carolina who suffer from
mental illness, chemical dependency or developmental disability.
As a Mental Health Worker you will:
Work schedule is a block schedule of six (6) days every two weeks
to include every other weekend.
- Provide direct care for and observation of patients with
acute mental illness, behavioral disorders, and/or post-traumatic
- Provide treatment through individual interaction and group
activities to help patients learn socially effective values,
attitudes, and behaviors.

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or
related field preferred.
- Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital
setting as a Mental Health Worker working with adolescents and/or
