Perry’s Ice Cream (“PIC”) is currently recruiting for a Part-Time
Merchandiser in the Springville / Arcade areas. The role of the Merchandiser is
responsible for the effective merchandising of PIC and Partner Brand products in
retail outlets, primarily supermarkets, and to further the presence of PIC in
the marketplace. The Merchandiser will also be responsible for growing sales
volume & profitability, timely & accurate completion of all
paperwork/reports, merchandising of product in stores, as well as, proactively
communicating with internal and external customers. The Merchandiser ensures
outstanding execution at the store-level.
Essential Duties:
Ensure proper inventory level of product on shelves and at store
level;
Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork / reports;
Proactive communication to leader, peers, and PIC team regarding
activity at store-level;
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external
customers;
§ Ensure proper product mix, plan-o-gram compliance, and display set-up when
applicable for PIC and partner brands products;
§ Appropriate inventory and utilization of POS material to enhance brand and
consumer awareness;
§ Be aware of competitive activities in retail environment; space allocation,
adding/removing SKU’s, pricing & promotion;
§ Ensure shelf/case is filled and faced. Proper shelf tags in place;
§ Effective ongoing product rotation;
§ Practice good safety procedures at all times including, but not limited to,
the use of safety cutters, and wearing proper attire such as gloves and
steel-toes shoes;
§ Maintain good working relations with all store personnel;
§ Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member
safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Retail / frozen food merchandising experience preferred or familiarity with
the supermarket industry;
§ Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends and mornings, and
proven ability to work independently;
