The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing liaison and coordinating with government representatives at their respective operating site.
The site manager shall have a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance and supply procedures, including turboprop engines, airframes, installed systems, maintenance data collection/analysis, safety, and environmental regulations.
Will have the authority to act on behalf of the company for all contract related issues as specified in the governing contract. Required Education and Experience:
Must have: Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 10 years management experience
Must have experience managing aircraft maintenance and material support programs
Previous experience in inventory control, industrial and personnel relations, including the assignment/reassignment of personnel in conjunction with fluctuating workloads.
Experience in establishing policy and procedures, training, and safety programs.
Experience in logistics support, maintenance, supply, and production procurement activities.
Experience managing operating budgets and fund expenditures for supplies and/or equipment; in flight operation plans, programs, and evaluation of maintenance and supply capability to support such programs.
Experience in aircraft maintenance plans, procedures, and policies with collective experience in monitoring and directing maintenance and supply activities.
Comprehensive knowledge of Naval aircraft maintenance and supply procedures, including turboprop engines, airframes, maintenance data collection/analysis, and Navy technical directive compliance.
Familiar with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) procedures and directives.
Recent experience with relevant program at a Chief of Naval Air Training platform
Familiar with Lean maintenance philosophy (certification not required).
