United States intelligence enterprise All-Source Pattern of Life Subject Matter Expert leverages intelligence enterprise systems, tools, capabilities, research methods, and organizations performing complex pattern of life analysis. Pattern of life analysts perform technical data mining, geospatial referencing, and innovative predictive analysis of foreign intelligence threats to support multi-echelon government and military tactical and strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports and conducts the compilation of essential elements of information from various classified and unclassified intelligence sources and databases to produce predictive pattern of life intelligence products for multi-echelon government organizations and activities
  • Maintains and conducts simultaneous ongoing pattern of life analysis efforts to support daily intelligence briefings, vulnerability assessments, defined functional knowledge briefs, and intelligence operations
  • Reviews, prepares, produces, and disseminates scheduled and unscheduled textual, graphic, and tabular products of varying length and production frequency containing pattern of life analysis derived intelligence products, intelligence information, assessments, network diagrams, and predictive analysis
  • Anticipates, initiates, organizes, and conducts comprehensive pattern of life research projects on complex topics independently or as part of larger analytical efforts; focused on identifying foreign risks and threats through pattern of life intelligence analysis of foreign entity capabilities, affiliations and activities; includes state and non-state actors, rogue individuals or groups, or organized criminal activities
  • Develops and expands pattern of life analysis expertise through thorough analysis and interpretation of geospatial information, multi-discipline intelligence traffic and products, directed searches of foreign intelligence databases, and foreign threat communications
  • Participates in analytic, and informational exchanges with other pattern of life analysts, other single source discipline SMEs, other government agency analysts, military analysts and when authorized; immigration, customs, border, and law enforcement personnel
  • Responds to multiple government organizations and echelons supplying analytical support for senior DOD military and civilian intelligence and operational leadership
  • Coordinates or attends as directed by government: briefings to command and staff, planning conferences, exercise activities, roundtables, staff meetings, IPRs, and other organizational and operational functions
  • Serves as or assists organizational senior on-site pattern of life analyst and organizational site lead with functional requirements
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the contract /client.

Education and/or Experience

  • BA/BS Degree or quantifiable military mid-level experience
  • 5-9 years Pattern of Life analysis and production experience
  • Preferred Joint or JTF operational experience
  • Preferred OCONUS experience conducting pattern of life analysis missions
  • Ability to compile and compose executive level intelligence products
  • Strong presentation briefing skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate effectively, convince, influence, or advise
Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as mission dictates

Computer Skills

  • Must be able to utilize COTS communications, word processing, database management, and presentation software applications and tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Must be able to utilize classified and unclassified message traffic systems (e.g., M3, Pathfinder, SAFE, etc.) to research, request, retrieve, and integrate message traffic into pattern of life intelligence products
  • Must have demonstrated familiarity with visualization and intelligence production tools in the development of actionable foreign pattern of life intelligence products
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:
TS/SCI is required.
