Highlights of Opportunity: • Provide experience for a wide range of commercial, legal, environmental and operational issues that arise in the operation of interstate and intrastate crude, refined products, NGLs and petrochemicals pipelines. • Pipeline safety and environmental regulation by federal and state authorities including DOT and state equivalents including emergency response experience.• Handling of agency proceedings in state and federal venues, including proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, with an emphasis on rate and service regulation.• Complex transactional matters, including the development of and provision of services through new build pipeline systems and acquisition and divestiture of pipeline companies or systems.• General corporate legal advice and counsel, including areas such as antitrust, employment, permitting, procurement, corporate governance, bankruptcy, and real estate.• Advice and counsel relating to business entity formation and governance, including joint ventures, partnerships, and LLCs.
