The selected candidate will work on a team, at Qualcomms San Diego location, that develops mixed-signal tests and simulation testbenches for state of the art System on a Chip (SOC) devices. The right individual will work with Digital/Analog/RF Designers to develop test methods, verify test structures through simulation, and generate test patterns; this candidate will support Test Engineering in the implementation of these tests on Automatic Test Equipment. The individual selected will need to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering quality products to customers.
Past experience with analog and mixed-signal design, familiarity with the Primetime flow and STA is also desirable.
Ability to communicate clearly, organizes effectively, and document work thoroughly.
Strong knowledge of Test bench development, excellent simulation debug skills, and a working knowledge of mixed-signal testing and DFT including ATPG, JTAG, IDDQ, At-speed ATPG, fault simulation and fault analysis.
Experience with Modelsim, NC-Verilog, VCS or similar logic simulators.
Experience with VHDL, Verilog, C and Perl
Ability to communicate clearly and document work thoroughly.
At least 5 years related experience with mixed-signal and ATPG simulation and testing.
Required: Master's, Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Doctorate, Electrical Engineering
