Mold Maintenance Technician - 12 hr rotating night shift

Requisition Number POS4108

Location Phillips Medical - New Richmond, WI

Responsibilities

Clean and lubricate molds and bases

Replace mold components

Properly tag molds

Change mold inserts over to run different parts and set date codes

Review production schedule and identify molds with change over and date codes and ensure mold is set-up correct

Make basic ejector pins

Remove broken bolts

Keep accurate account for all molds and verify actual location

Inspect tools by completing the New Tool Checklist

Drive forklift

Complete work orders

Disassemble/assemble molds and secondary equipment

Keep mold storage system organized and updated

Keep entire mold storage area clean

Other duties as assigned

Keep work area clean

Report incidents and injuries to team leader/manager immediately

Recognize close-call incidents and safety hazards and take action to eliminate them

Use equipment properly and follow the safety features/operating procedures

Wear applicable personal protective equipment

Follow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures

Actively participate in continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications - Education & Experience

High School diploma or GED

Two-year degree in machine tool or related field or equivalent experience

Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

Strong mechanical aptitude

Basic computer skills
