As the Monetization Manager, you will drive partner relationships with publishers and supply aggregators who leverage OpenX ad technology and services for monetizing their digital content.

Monetization Managers must be able to execute business initiatives seamlessly to deliver – if not exceed – the financial objectives of partner relationships and OpenX. The Monetization Manager should be able to build trust with partners, drive seamless execution, and improve revenue and operating efficiency.

In the OpenX Partner Services team, we strive to exceed partner expectations through building, supporting and maintaining long-term win-win relationships.

Monetization Managers will achieve a revenue target and partner satisfaction objective across a set of OpenX publisher partners. This person oversees the partner relationship focusing on performance monitoring, business issue resolution, and achieving KPIs of the partnership.

The Monetization Manager will be able to project manage the partner through revenue growth initiatives, building trust and driving efficient operations with the partner and from dependent internal OpenX teams. This person will drive increased product adoption to grow revenue while also minimizing partner churn. The Monetization Manager will also be able to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal OpenX stakeholders including marketplace management, support, product and finance teams.

Strong relationship management skills, sales, or consulting experience

Self-starter who can demonstrate success in solving problems, driving operational efficiency, or generating new revenue. Results-oriented. Ability to drive initiatives through to completion.

Strong communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated initiative and ability to align cross-functional teams to execute common objectives. Analytical thinker with good business sense.

Ability to interact effectively through mid-level management within partners’ businesses as well as within OpenX

BA / BS degree, desired but not required in engineering, finance, economics

Working knowledge of online advertising business

At least 3 years of relevant experience in in digital advertising operations or sales, publisher monetization and yield management, digital advertising technology sales or services
