If you love uncovering the news and digging deeper Eyewitness News is the place for you. WPRI is seeking a creative, hard-working and driven Special Projects Producer / Multi-media journalist to produce original local news content.

You will develop sources, research, shoot, edit and collaborate with experienced journalists on high profile broadcast news reports. You will also work with our experienced digital team to brainstorm ideas and develop exclusive, in-depth web content to complement on-air reports. The right person will have a proven track record of crafting compelling, clear and memorable stories.

He or she must be a strong writer, a stickler for facts, and have a keen eye for production and showcasing stories.

The applicant must possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with others in the newsroom and in other departments under tight deadline pressure.

Experience with Avid and INews a plus.

A college degree is required. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
