Gannett Co., Inc., one of the nation's largest print, broadcast and digital information companies, is now accepting applications for the 2013 award-winning Talent Development Program.

We’re looking for MULTIMEDIA JOURNALISTS who can write, shoot, edit and produce stories on deadline using video and audio, rich graphics and other visual presentation techniques to tell the story across digital, broadcast and print platforms.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coverage of general assignment stories
Developing news sources and writing accurate, intriguing news stories
Fact gathering and checking, including use of database searches
Writing headlines and recommending digital and social media elements to enhance written work

Program Requirements
Bachelors degree or higher required.
3.2 minimum overall GPA.
Applicants are required to have personal transportation, a valid driver’s license and successfully complete a drug screening and background check.

On-the-job training supplemented with webinar training sessions
Access to an existing, company-wide network of progressive young professionals
Mentorship from TDP alums and leaders within the company
Ongoing one-on-one professional development planning support

Participant Selection Process:
Complete the online application and attach a cover letter, resume or link(s) to your work, internship information, awards, extracurricular activities and other information to support your submission
Gannett executives will review your application and ask you to participate in a telephone or face-to-face interview if necessary
Each selected participant will receive a position offer and additional work location information
