Tenure-Track Faculty (Rank Open)

Point Park University’s School of Communication is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in multimedia, to begin the Fall of 2014. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in digital media and graphic and web design. Courses may include but not be limited to: Graphic Design, Print Graphics, Advertising Graphics, Motion Graphics, Web Design, Typography, Digital Photography and Video Production and Editing. The successful candidate must be qualified to chair graduate thesis committees and supervise independent studies as well as perform other faculty responsibilities such as research, student advising, and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with credentials and experience.


A terminal degree in a communication field, demonstrated familiarity with journalism and new media platforms, and university teaching experience are required; substantial professional media experience is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered.
