SUMMARY

The On Premise Specialist position takes a leadership role in building long-term partnerships with top on-premise accounts in their territory. And by 'On Premise', we're talking about any establishment where someone would purchase a Red Bull, and drink it right then and there. PURPOSE OF THIS JOB

Responsible for the sales of Red Bull to On Premise accounts. The focus is to sell Red Bull by creating strong business and personal relationships with account owners and staff and while executing all aspects of Red Bull's business (Territory Management, High 5 standards, Perfect Accounts, Partnership Agreements, Territory management, etc.). Success will be assisted by developing lasting relationships with key partners, possessing strong negotiation skills, and fostering a solution-oriented mindset.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES

1.Territory Management

a. Greater than 90% field time calling on accounts in his or her territory to take orders and make sales

b. Continuously assess geographic territory to define On Premise universe

c. Executes High 5 and Perfect Outlet standards throughout territory and tracks results accordingly

d. Maintains and utilizes tools appropriately (Point of Sale materials)

e. Manages local on premise budget

f. Properly and actively addresses all situations regarding the misrepresentation of other energy drinks as Red Bull

g. Professional conduct during all business interactions

h. Dresses appropriately during both day and night business

2. "Live" the Red Bull On Premise Culture: Create Affinity

a. Work lifestyle coincides with Red Bull Culture (visit the RBNA website to see what we're all about!)

b. As a result of interactions, customers and consumers want to be associated with the Red Bull brand

3. High 5 Execution

a. Visibility - Stages perfect visibility in order to optimize sales

b Perfect Serve - Ensure a cold Red Bull can is given to consumer when ordered as part of a cocktail or as a stand-alone beverage

c. Consumption Activation - Sells in appropriate consumption activation tools and communication pieces

d. Encourage the optimum price for Red Bull and Red Bull cocktails in all managed accounts as per RBNA guidelines

e. Menu placements - Ensures Red Bull products are listed as per RBNA guidelines on each menu as a stand-alone beverage and as part of a long drink

4. POS (Point of Sale Materials)

a. Ensures that the proper POS items are staged in the right accounts according to the RBNA guidelines

b. Ensures all Red Bull POS is clean and in proper working order

c Carries appropriate POS tools and replacement parts in vehicle at all times

d. Fills, rotates and faces all Red Bull in coolers during every visit to maximize sales

e. Keeps track of POS placements per venue

5. Business Building Initiatives

a. Targets and opens new accounts

b. Analyzes territory and account specific business to clearly understand key business drivers

c. Reviews business volume and business building initiatives with "A" accounts on a quarterly basis.

d. Utilizes tools and tactics to drive vertical growth

e. Sets volume goals with each account that include execution against Red Bull KPIs

f. Convinces key decision maker to implement strategies and tactics to drive Red Bull volume/consumer off take

g. Routinely performs Staff Education/Energizers to ensure brand understanding, perfect serve, and encourage optimum pricing

h. Proactively shares examples of Red Bull marketing activities to demonstrate key points of difference to competition

6. Partnership Agreements

a. Effectively negotiates Partnership Agreements to drive vertical sales

b. Ensures all agreed upon components are executed to the fullest extent of the agreement

c Works closely with manager to ensure only the right accounts are targeted and signed

7. Event Activation

a. Ensures premium High 5 execution, branding, and availability around third party events that take place inside On Premise venues

b. Proactively searches for creative elements to add to supported events that drive Red Bull's brand image

c. Leverages nation and global activities/events in On Premise venues

8. Relationship Building Activities

a. Routinely engages in activities to build relationships with key influencers in accounts and territory

b. Develops relative industry relationships (djs, promoters, endemic magazines, etc.) that results in business building initiatives

c. Develops and implements incentives and staff activities for key customers

9. General

a. Effective communication with Cell, RBNA, customers, and distributors

b. Works as part of the team to ensure execution against key events/activities sometimes outside everyday responsibilities

KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES (WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE)

1. The accounts' merchandising reflects RBNA High 5 standards

2. Decision makers and staff view Specialist as added value partner and resource

3. POS is properly maintained and placed in all accounts

4. On Premise Specialist has an organized approach to tracking and managing business

5. Partnership Agreements drive account volume and High 5 execution up, while driving down the cost of business

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Outstanding local market knowledge, contacts and experience in "the scene"

2. Preferred: 2+ years experience in a sales position with a strong track record of success

3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate.

4. Excellent communication and active listening skills

5. Creative, solution-oriented mindset

6. Self-motivated and able to work independently

7. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

8. University - Bachelor's Degree preferred

9. You must be at least 21 years of age to satisfy the essential functions of this job.
