The NBD Account Manager will be specifically responsible for penetrating our large, medium and small C-store retailer/wholesaler prospect base by introducing The company’s core business (including Image Merchandising Solutions, Space Management, and Category Management Services). She/he will identify key decision makers within these accounts; develop and present compelling business proposals of all Gladson programs that drive client sales efficiently and effectively; and gain active endorsement of Gladson across C-store retailer/wholesaler accounts. Once secured, she/he will continue to drive incremental revenue through continued account development.
Achieve annual revenue goal through penetration of assigned prospects and selling clients strategic and operational benefits of full line of Gladson products and services
Penetrate client headquarters and field organizations to develop strong business relationships and strategic alliances.
Provide consultation and creative solutions that drive client strategies.Ensure excellent service execution and delivery to retain all accounts.
Demonstrate Gladson Delivery Network with clients.
Create detailed account plans including profiles and acquisition programs.
Prepare contracts and all support documents.
Work closely and compatibly across internal departments including Sales, Customer Service, Data Prep, Production, and Planogram Analytics to drive growth and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
Manage expenses to budget levels.B2B sales experience…emphasis on the C-store channel is required.
Selling business services, in a solution selling approach, to multiple buyers in companies at Director/VP level and above.
Strong relationship building and inter-personal skills with the ability and executive poise to interface at all levels of management.
Strong knowledge of the CPG Industry, from both the manufacturer and retailer perspective and role of other industry players (wholesalers, distributors, brokers).
Comfort with technology and use of databases and syndicated type data.
Demonstrated record of success at both large, complex organizations and in smaller resource-constrained environments.
Proven track record of developing industry relationships with clients and peers, vendors and business partners.
Financial projection skills.Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity.
Able to professionally perform multi-media sales presentations.Organization and time management skills.
Knowledge of PC hardware and software packages.
Solid written and verbal communication skills at all levels
