Our NGS Claims Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, guidance and training of Claims Processors in the NGS business unit.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Reviews and processes the more complex health claims involving medical issues, etc.
Investigates facts for questionable claims.
Negotiates settlements of disputed claims within defined dollar limits.
Applies expert knowledge in all key areas.
Able to perform all complex functions.
Identifies processing issues and works towards resolution, escalating issues as appropriate.
Monitors and manages inventory to ensure that all claims are processed timely.
Acts with a sense of urgency.
Provides leadership and guidance to unit.
Assists in training less experienced processors.
Job Qualifications
Our Team Lead is requires a High School Diploma or GED; 5 + years Medicare claims experience; 3 + years of experience and expertise with NGS relevant automated processing systems; strong written and oral communication skills, PC, analytical, problem solving skills; and in-depth knowledge of specialized area; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous leadership experience preferred. Ability to travel maybe required.
