NGSTrainer I/II

Responsible for facilitating a variety of performance-based learning events in the health care industry that may include, but are not limited to:

General associate operations training.

Training is typically focused on concrete skills related to training on processes and procedures (example: call center: claims, customer service, enrollment and billing, etc), but may include soft skills content.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature and across multiple platforms.

Assists in rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs.

Able to analyze situations and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and influence others.

Stays abreast of trends in learning and applies innovative and impactful solutions.

Exercises classroom management, including learner performance and escalates issues to Performance Solution and client leadership when necessary.

Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.

Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness.

Act as a change advocate by introducing, embracing and managing change.

Brings proven ability to manage time in ways that ensures effective management and execution of competing priorities.

Responsible for keeping technical skills updated.

Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and global environments.

Consults and solves learning solutions including: identifies client training needs, successfully uses performance consulting to analyze data and identify root cause to determine appropriate learning solutions, develops service level agreements and meets with clients to obtain approval.

Cultivates positive, professional and interpersonal relationships with both internal and external business partners to implement successful learning solutions.

Job Qualifications

Trainer I:
Has the ability and flexibility to travel up to 25% domestically.

Requires BA/BS in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Public speaking and facilitation skills required.


Trainer II:
Has the ability and flexibility to travel up to 25% domestically.

Requires BA/BS in related field with 2 years of training experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Hiring level depends on qualifications, skills, education and experience.

Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in the call center answering inquiries for medical health insurance.

1 year of experience in a Medicare Part A Customer Care operations position is preferred.

Experience on the following systems: Case 360, FISS, HIMR, and CWF is preferred.
