Minimum Education and Experience:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of experience in the area of specialization.

This position is being recruited for at the Journey Competency Level under the Career Banding Program. The hiring range for this position is $40,480 - $75,761, and the salary grade equivalent is 75. ************************************************************************************************************************************************
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer's Oncology Clinical Protocol Office. The primary responsibilities include: the informed consent process, eligibility and screening, toxicity assessment, patient management, conducting in-services for nurses staff in treating clinic; planning of patient recruitment methods; logistics of patient visits; logistics of obtaining and coordinating clinical samples; enlistment of support of necessary ancillary departments; coordinating the ordering of the required supplies; collecting source documentation; working with Clinical Research Associates to facilitate data collection for CRFs (case report forms) and/or eCRFs; prepare and participate in monitoring visits; facilitate pre-site meetings, site initiation meetings, and plan, organization, and run of protocol start-up meetings. Responsibilities of this position include comprehensive management of multiple clinical research protocols for institutional, pharmaceutical, and national cooperative group studies. Incumbent will oversee operational aspects and manage patient care. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.

Preferred Qualifications:
Oncology and /or research experience preferred.
