Our Client, a Global Fortune 50 Healthcare Company, is recruiting for a Clinical Sales Associate in Nashville, TN.
Our Client is a leading provider of proven solutions to address a range of bleeding and leaking situations - from routine to problematic -- during surgical procedures. These solutions can be used for open and minimally invasive procedures across broad range of specialties: cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, vascular, spine, neuro, GYN, urology, othropedic, ENT, bariatric, plastic and general surgery. Their product portfolio includes proprietary oxidized regenerated cellulose hemostats; gelatin powder and sponges; a flowable hemostatic matrix; human thrombin, and fibrin sealant. Additionally, it includes a line of business, an evidence-based dressing choice for local infections, catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) and skin colonization of microorganisms commonly related to CRBSI in patients with central venous or arterial catheters.
The Clinical Sales Associate position is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in the sales of the Hemostasis product line. The CSA will support a sales division by expanding the sales of wound management products and converting competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with company policy and sales direction. The CSA will accomplish this by partnering with and learning sales processes from tenured sales professionals in the field, as well as making contributions in an Operating Room environment.
In this role, the Clinical Sales Associate will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to physicians. The CSA will also need to demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. Additionally, the CSA will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and adhering to healthcare compliance guidelines which leads the customer to action.
To be eligible for the Clinical Sales Associate position, applicants must currently reside in the posted territory or be willing to relocate there at their own expense. Please note that within approximately 12 to 18 months of being hired, the CSA will be promoted into a Sales Representative position and will relocate into a different geography/city/state.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A minimum 3 years of outside sales experience is preferred. Medical Device sales experience strongly preferred. 3-5 years combined medical device and competitive business-to-business sales experience preferred. A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty states and a clean driving record is required. The ability to work in a hospital/operating room environment is required. Willingness to travel up to 40% depending on geography is required. To be eligible for this position, applicants must currently reside in the posted territory or be willing to relocate there at their own expense. Willingness to relocate within 18 months of employment is mandatory.
