Micros-Retail is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Networking Engineer with strong verbal and written communication skills. This individual should have a solid technical character as well as be a team player. Fry provides both the strategic expertise and technical solutions that yield real business results for clients such as Cabela’s, Crate and Barrel, Eddie Bauer, Godiva Chocolatier, Meijer, The Swiss Colony, Vera Bradley and Whirlpool.

Responsibilities:
•Analyze LAN/WAN network performance, capacity, stability, and security
•Contribute to the definition, and documentation of standards, processes, and procedures
•Document network topology and site configurations
•Evaluate network management/monitoring tools
•Maintain LAN/WAN network connectivity and services
•Provide third level support for network issues and escalations
•Diagnose LAN/WAN operational problems and implement improvements

Required Skills:
•Must have experience supporting and configuring complex BGPv4 inter-networks in multi-homed configurations
•Must have experience supporting and configuring complex EIGRP and/or OSPF inter-networks
•Must have experience supporting, deploying, and troubleshooting complex, highly-scalable, highly-redundant LAN and WAN network topologies
•Must have experience with Cisco 7200/7500 series or greater routers
•Must have experience with Cisco 2900, 3500, 3700, and 6500 series switches
•Must have experience with Cisco ASA 5510/5520/5550 series firewalls
•Must have experience with Cisco CSS or other load balancer technologies
•Expert understanding of the OSI reference model
•Strong knowledge and experience with ARP, STP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SNMP, RMON, SMTP, IPSEC, ISAKMP, GRE, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, RIP, EIGRP, BGPv4, and OSPF
•Strong knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN connectivity and cabling standards including: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet (100BASE-T), Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-SX), MPLS, Frame Relay, T1, T3, and OC-3/POS and GigMAN
•Strong organizational, documentation, project management, and communications skills
•Ability to understand requirements and develop solutions, communicating effectively with peers, clients, vendors, and management
•Ability to manage time between multiple projects and duties
•Independent problem-solving, and self-direction
•Five or more years of network administration experience
•Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
•CCNP or CCDP required

Desired Skills:
•Working knowledge of Windows networks
•Working knowledge with Unix/Linux systems
•Working knowledge of IIS and Apache
•Significant programming background in any applicable language a plus
•Experience with Opsware desirable
