The Security Operations Network Security Engineer will have responsibility for network design, implementation, and management providing highly secure systems infrastructure and application integration in the DocuSign corporate and production environments. Experience with PCI, SSAE 16 and ISO 27001 technical controls is essential to this role.

Essential Job Functions:
Architect highly scalable and fault tolerant network and security infrastructure in a fast growing technology company.

Participate in incident response planning and execution as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with forensic research associated with such breaches as necessary.

Provide top tier network and security support and escalation for technology issues providing rapid diagnosis, quick turnaround for corrective actions, and post mortem analysis for near/mid/long term technology improvements.

Assemble, install, upgrade, configure, and manage network and security systems including hardware, firmware, and integrated applications. Hands on experience with firewalls, switches, load-balancers, SIEM systems, VoIP, and OS (Windows/Mac/Linux) Security required.

Implement, administer, and maintain physical security systems including, but not limited to, CCTV and Electronic Badge access devices.

Administer and maintain network devices following rigorous control standards.

Maintain documentation, establish and manage periodic vulnerability scans, maintain audit readiness, and provide audit documents for PCI, SSAE 16, ISO 27001 and other compliance programs as required.

Monitor, track and document network and security issues and threats to ensure prompt resolution and root cause analysis as needed.

Source vendors and manage relationships for related technology purchasing, services, and systems support.

Participate in on-call support rotation for after hours support coverage as needed.

Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times in a fast-paced work environment.

Candidate Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge and experience with network and security technologies and systems including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, SIEM systems, VPN, VoIP, and Video Conferencing.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory controls and security relative to network architecture and implementation.

Working knowledge of Linux systems and security best practices.

Advanced knowledge and experience with user access permissions settings, security policy administration, and highly secure LAN/WAN connected networks across multiple geographic locations.

Advanced knowledge of network technologies in an enterprise environment for end-to-end troubleshooting and support at the carrier, infrastructure, systems, and desktop levels.

Ability to prioritize tasks based on established business practices with and without management direction.

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work in a highly dynamic environment.

Collaborative work ethic with a strong drive to learn and share knowledge.

Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work in a physically active environment.

Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in a direct Network/Security architect level role.

Minimum 10 years hands on experience with relevant network/security hardware and applications.

Current experience with PCI, SSAE 16, and ISO 27001 network/security compliance processes, procedures, and controls.

Preferred candidates will have at least one current certification or equivalent work experience. CISSP, Security +, GIAC, ITIL preferred.

Preferred candidates will have a BS and/or formal technical training in a computer science related field or equivalent work experience.
