Vice President of New Business Development

The Weber Shandwick Chicago office is currently seeking a Vice President of New Business.

The Vice President of New Business is responsible for driving new business and opening doors for the agency with new prospects, and managing and overseeing all areas of the new business process, including RPF response and submission and presentations. The position leads individual new business pitches as well as helping to create and manage the new business marketing and development strategy for different offices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop RFP responses for the Chicago office and assist in all facets of managing new business presentations

Act as the point person on most key RFP submissions, driving the process within the Chicago office and working across the network as appropriate

Manage the Chicago new business team driving the new business strategy for the office and facilitating collaboration in the process with all staff

Drive new business proactive planning for the Chicago office

Prospect for and schedule capabilities and credentials meetings

Serve on the network-wide new business team, and assist in managing requests from across the network

Facilitate sharing of best tools and techniques and evolution/improvements to RFP process/content, etc.

Develop creative new business tools and techniques

Bring new thinking and “third party” perspective to pitch teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Approximately 10-12+ years related professional experience
