At nearly 7,000 feet elevation, Flagstaff has four seasons and LOTS of sunshine. In the center of the world's largest ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff is a recreational hub for Northern Arizona. Areas for camping, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, biking, rock climbing and fishing are plentiful. Flagstaff if just a day's trip from the Grand Canyon, many lakes and streams and the red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon.
WE ARE HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING UNITS: EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, MED/SURG/TELEMETRY, AND CRITICAL CARE.
THESE POSITIONS WILL BE FULL-TIME, 36 HOURS PER WEEK DURING THE TRAINING PROGRAM WHICH LASTS APPROXIMATELY 3-6 MONTHS. UPON COMPLETION OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM, THE JOB STATUS WILL CHANGE TO 0 BUDGETED HOURS, NON-BENEFIT ELIGIBLE. EMPLOYEES WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR OPEN POSITIONS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION.
WE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM APPLICANTS THAT MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
-CURRENT NURSING STUDENTS GRADUATING IN MAY 2013.
-NURSES WITH A VALID ARIZONA STATE NURSING LICENSE.
-CANDIDATES WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY GRADUATED FROM AN ACCREDITED NURSING PROGRAM.
This program is designed to assist in the transition from school to a community-based, not-for-profit healthcare system that is among the most technologically advanced hospitals in Arizona!
We provide a comprehensive training program that is designed to guide you to integrate your medical knowledge with your technical skills. Working with a skilled and dedicated preceptor, you will receive a minimum of 80 hours of classroom training complimented with at least 120 hours of unit based training. This program allows you to assume more and more responsibility in your new career so that you will feel confident in your ability to provide the best patient care.
