The FaST Division is responsible for developing Semiconductor Film and CD Metrology Instrumentation.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The function will contain material inventory management, kitting, data entry, and bill of material management. It involves a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. The function will also be responsible for new Product Introduction Activities including ECOs, product rollout Documentation and fixture
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires physical lifting and moving of mechanical/electrical parts. Shipping and receiving material. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a work/office environment and cleanroom. It may involve frequent contact with the public in person and through phone and email correspondence. May require travel to other countries.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Data entry from multiple sources on a daily basis. Generating and tracking material orders Receiving and kitting of mechanical/electrical parts. Material inventory audit and shortage reports. Working with engineering to manage bill of materials. Issuing engineering material to engineers and work-orders. Working with engineering and buyers to disposition material (RMA, MRB). Generating and interpreting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Updating of Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents as required. Communication with engineers, supply chain and vendors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Two year college or university degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications. Need to have high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
Pro-E and AutoCad experience a plus
Prior experience in Enovia strongly preferred.
Prior experience in SAP strongly preferred.
Experience with metrology or new product development strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Detail oriented with great organization skills a must. Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications. Skills in written and verbal communication. Computer skills including Windows, MSOffice and web-based documentation control process applications. Ability to work effectively with staff, public, and external agencies. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience. OR Doctorate (Academic)
