The University of Arizona Department Of Medicine, Section of Cardiology is seeking a non-interventional academic cardiologist to provide patient care, teaching and research at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, University of Arizona Medical Center, and University of Arizona Physicians in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidates will provide cardiology and non-interventional cardiac care to both inpatients and outpatients, participate in activities of the cardiology section, conduct research and perform academic responsibilities. This is a new position joining the growing cardiology practice at the UAMC South Campus. The successful candidates will perform all duties of a staff cardiologist. Qualifications for the non-interventional cardiologist include board eligibility or certification in Cardiovascular Disease. - Provide cardiology inpatient and outpatient care * Participate in clinical aspects of the Cardiology Division * Perform research that is related to Cardiology * Initiate new and innovative research programs * Perform academic responsibilities with patient care and education * Perform all duties of a staff cardiologist
