Under the direction of the Ambulatory Program Administrator, the Nursing Informatics Specialist Ambulatory will intimately understand the clinician’s needs for IS applications, provide on-going support (training, education and unresolved program needs) and provide feedback to IS in order to assure a high value, user-friendly, comprehensive, integrated network which meets the needs of both clinicians and patients.
Bachelor’s degree in Health Science.
Knowledge of Siemens Invision system and personal computer programs.
Must have verbal, facilitation and interactive skills to assist in exercising a positive influence on project outcomes and the flexibility with time to respond to the IS needs of projects.
Five years direct care experience providing clinically competent service.
Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting preferred.
