Summary of Position Duties:
The Nuclear Operations Training Supervisor provides oversight and maintains accreditation of operator training programs. Leads a group of supervisors, operations instructors, and simulator personnel and is responsible for:
Ensuring operations instructors and training programs reinforce standards and expectations
Classroom, simulator, and in plant training and qualification programs for licensed and system operators
Preparing candidates for NRC initial examinations and operators for requalification examinations. Preparing written, simulator, and JPM examinations to NRC standards.
Maintaining the site reference simulator
Fill a designated position in the Emergency Response Organization.
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science desirable
A total of six (6) years of power plant experience of which a minimum of one (1) year is nuclear power plant experience.
A maximum of two (2) years of the remaining five (5) years of plant experience may be fulfilled by academic or related technical training on a one-for-one basis.
Must have an active or previous Senior Reactor Operator's (SRO) License or SRO certification - preferably on a Westinghouse PWR.

Detailed knowledge of plant procedures and regulations in assigned area
Detailed knowledge of plant systems and processes
Working knowledge of computer software programs supporting assigned area
Demonstrated experience using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process
Knowledge of applicable criteria for programs accredited by the National Academy of Nuclear Training
Demonstrated experience with Nuclear power plant industry standards regarding training program implementation and applicable governmental regulations
