· Assists the Quality Director with hospital wide performance improvement including patient safety initiatives by facilitating the PDMAI process
· Performs and coordinates data collection/audits pertaining to maintaining regulatory compliance.
· Performs other clinical documentation auditing as requested.
      Assists the Quality Director with regulatory compliance: maintaining standards and instituting new measures
      · Assists the Quality Director with collaboration with other health care providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating performance improvement programs and clinical outcomes.
      · Assist with collection of or performance of the IRR on Core Measures.
      · Manifests problem solving abilities and decisive leadership, utilizing innovative thinking and approaches
      · Assists with data collection for the physician OPPE and FPPE audits as needed/delegated.
      · Meets his or her leadership obligations under the Ethics and Compliance Program.
      · Networks with peers and colleagues both within the organization and in the community
      · Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
      · Conduct reinforces the Company’s values and promote the Code of Conduct
      · Identifies trends and reports findings to the Chief Nursing Officer and Quality Director.
      · Assists with quality improvement activities as assigned by the Quality Director.

      · Performs other duties as requested or required.

      A minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing. Requires a current Texas Registered Nurse license. Must have previous experience in mental health nursing. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills- both written and oral. Must proactively prioritize needs and be detail oriented. Prefer strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications. FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY AND WORKING CONDITIONS : Essential function of the job includes: Extended walking and standing daily, infrequently carrying up to 20 lbs., ability to grasp, requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, hand eye coordination, manual and finger dexterity. Job is performed primarily inside without noticeable variations in temperature or humidity. Some noise/vibration caused by office equipment. Little to no exposure to hazards. No exposure to fumes, odors, or toxic conditions. Some dust and airborne particles may be present in the work environment. OSHA BLOODBORNE CATEGORY III.
