• Registered nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• Licensure for advanced practice role in Pennsylvania.
• Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in area of education/subspecialty.
• Masters degree from an NLNAC-CCNE accredited graduate school of nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

The Nurse Practitioner in the Center for Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndromes provides inpatient and outpatient clinical care and management to children and adolescents with reflex neurovascular dystrophy (RND) and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Along with a rheumatologist, psychologist, nurse practitioner, program coordinator, physical and occupational therapists, art and music therapist and social worker the program provides a comprehensive holistic interdisciplinary team approach to the individualized care and treatment of children with amplified pain. The NP is accountable for clinical and team leadership and assessment and collaborative management of patients within our hospital-based treatment program and outpatient clinic. Responsibilities also include conducting new patient evaluations, patient/family support and education, interpretation of diagnostic tests, program admissions, support and participation in program expansion goals, quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities. Coordinates timely discharge planning with the team, phone triage, provides co-treatment to patients and team members, coordinates and attends team/family meetings and maintains continuity of care with other disciplines and providers.
