Requirements:
Registered nurse license in Pennsylvania.
Licensure for advanced practice role in Pennsylvania.
Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania (upon hire).
National Certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, with a promise to become Pediatric Acute Care Certified after completion of post-master's.

Master’s degree from an NLNAC and/or CCNE accredited graduate school of nursing in a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, or Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program with the promise of completing a post-master's certificate as a Pediatric Acute Care nurse practitioner .

According to the CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) a copy of diploma or transcript is required as proof of academic achievement for all non-laboratory personnel performing non-waived POC testing

All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Job Description:
In collaboration with an attending physician, the General Oncology Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her scope of practice and skill set. The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research.

Position requires rotation to day, evening, and weekend.
