-The Acute Care Surgery team is composed of seven board-certified trauma surgeons, six NP/PA, surgical residents and medical students. You will be expected to work shift hours, with no call, but may include weekends. Responsibilities will include care for the Acute Care Surgery patients in the clinic/and or floor setting.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Bachelor degree from a Physician Assistant program, approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA). National Certification, ACLS and CPR certification and proficiency in the use of medical and surgical instruments and equipment required by work.
Nurse Practitioner must be Acute Care Certified
