RN needed to work in busy ER; 40,000 cases a year. Provides care to patients from geriatric to pediatrics. Our ER has a CHOP connection and Penn Foundation Crisis Worker. Must understand the principles of triaging and perform these duties competently. This is a great position for someone looking for diversity and a challenge!

Requirements:
  • Current PA RN license.
  • BCLS training is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification after one year of employment in the DEM is required.
  • Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in a primary nursing care setting; ambulatory, emergency or critical care units.
  • ER experience preferred.
  • Daily working conditions involve sustained physical effort such as lifting or moving in excess of 100 lbs., walking and running in some instances.
