This position is located in Chula Vista.
8 hour shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, weekends only.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Current CPR certification required
Current Certified Nursing Assistant training or completion of 1 year nursing school
Experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
This role is responsible for meeting the personal needs of our patients. Must work well with a team and have a positive attitude. The nursing assistants work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and are integral to the success of our patient satisfaction and patient safety.
Fast paced 44 bed medical/oncology unit that include a SAFE unit (Specialty Adult Focused Environment) which caters to patients needed close observation for their safety. The unit is being remodeled currently and has an active unit based practice council which is involved in key decision making for the unit.

Sharp Chula Vista is currently doubling the size of its Emergency Department and building a new Cancer Center, a unique healing environment with the most advanced medical technology available for cancer treatment.

Carry up to 25 pounds
