Required Qualifications: NURSING ASSISTANT I -Possession of or ability to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities during the probationary period. NURSING ASSISTANT 2 -One year of satisfactory full-time experience in the provision of simple treatment and other patient care services under professional supervision.
Brief Description of Duties: Provide care to individuals in hospitals and nursing homes operated by the State of New York. Such care ranges from attending to individuals personal hygienic needs in order to assure the persons comfort to performing a limited number of simple treatments and therapy. Provide hands on care by assisting individuals with bathing, dressing, perineal care, mobility, eating, and other activities of daily living.

Special Notes: Shift: 2 Full-Time Evening positions - 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm - Days Vary. Please note Stony Brook Medicine is a smoke free environment.
