We are seeking a Nursing Care Coordinator to support our 24-hour Residential Center. The Residence is a 10-bed short-term pediatric nursing facility that cares for children who may be medically complex or disabled in a home-like environment. The children are placed in our care to assist their transition home or to foster care.
The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for the transition of children into the Residence, as well as the supervision of day-to day duties of the nursing and child care staff. This position assists the Program Manager in coordinating nursing services and providing a continuum of care for children in the Residence.
Mandatory Job Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience with children with special medical needs. Infectious disease experience desirable.
- Minimum of 3 of years experience supervising nursing staff required.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills preferred.
