The School of Nursing is seeking applicant to teach both didactic and clinical undergraduate courses, actively engage in scholarship, and participate in service to the university and to the discipline of nursing. Standard teaching load is 24 credits per year.
- Earned graduate degree in nursing.
- Clinical nursing practice experience.
- Active Minnesota Registered Professional nurse licensure by August 19, 2013.

The School of Nursing offers innovative and technology-enhanced curricula for baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral students. The Graduate programs include an MS with a focus in nursing education and a BS to DNP with a focus on FNP preparation. Post-masters degree certificates are also offered in each of these graduate programs. Graduate courses are offered primarily online. Basic and RN Baccalaureate Completion programs are offered to 300 undergraduate students. A welcoming and supportive environment of experienced faculty provides opportunities for interdisciplinary research, teaching, and service. Opportunities for professional growth are contractually supported through faculty development funds. The School has generous support to become an intellectual community that creates landmark innovations in the scholarship of family and society nursing practice. A Nursing Institute for Family and Society within the school focus on influencing the health and healing of families and society at local, state, national and international levels.
