The International Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating an international product strategy across our International Markets. He/She will be responsible for managing the portfolio of products we already sell, identifying new product opportunities to address unmet consumer needs, and managing product development for international projects. A significant responsibility will be to work with the U.S. marketing department to maintain a three-year pipeline of innovation and new products. This position requires ongoing collaboration with all of the international markets, and all corporate groups who support the international markets including Regulatory, R&D, and Market Research.
o Conduct comprehensive industry and competitive analysis to determine competitive benchmarks and positioning strategies.
o Conduct pricing analyses to ensure consistent price positioning across markets
o Develop and implement product obsolescence, reformulation, and discontinuation plans
o Ongoing line maintenance, including updates of product labels, collateral and packaging
o Oversee monthly product forecasts for each market with input from finance, operations and the local international markets
o Identify and conduct market research including concept testing, usage & attitude studies, both qualitative and quantitative
o Maintain accurate and updated timelines for the projects - Work closely with the R & D and legal departments to generate compelling
approved claims for products
o Develop launch plans and sales support collateral materials
o Bi- or multi-lingual skills preferred
o 2-3 years of combined product marketing and new product development & launch experience with consumer products. Experience in
Nutritional Products preferred .
o BA/BS/Bachelors degree in business, MBA preferred
o Excellent analytical skills, including financial analysis, competitive analysis and market research analysis.
o Experience in effectively planning and leading projects in cross functional teams, in a timely fashion
o Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
o Must work well with others
o Must work well under pressure
