OFFICE LEAD - 2nd Shift
Performance Team - Edison, NJ
Summary: Leads the daily activities of an office unit. Determines workflow and scheduling while implementing operational policies and procedures. Office Lead must be available to work 4PM t 2AM Monday through Friday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. · Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow. · Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. · Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. · Plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs. · Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. · Prepares activities reports for guidance of management. · Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within department. · Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly leads 5-10 employee’s in the Warehouse offices with relation to floor operations. Carries out Lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities Bilingual is Spanish is helpful, but not necessary.
