ONE-NET Network Engineer (Ashore)

Fleet Systems Engineering Team (FSET) assures effective operations for all afloat and ashore C4I systems throughout the entire deployment cycle, and to provide systems engineering and technical support for rapid introduction of new capabilities into the Fleet. This task will provide senior technical advisors and systems engineers for end-to-end C4I systems engineering support to all Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups (CSGs, ESGs) throughout Fleet Readiness Plan (FRP) phases; from initial workups through deployment, and during maintenance and upkeep periods.
Support system integration, site activation planning to include the formulation and tracking of delivery plans for equipment sub-systems to support ONE-NET requirements. Equipment sub-systems activation and delivery plans shall be prepared and submitted by the Contractor to ONE-NET Program Management Office (PMO) in sufficient time to allow for review and approval/modification as necessary to ensure deliveries meet Fleet and shore schedules.
Install and integrate ONE-NET systems to replace legacy networks in support of three OCONUS Regional Network Operations and Security Centers (RNOSCs) at NCTS Naples, NCTS Bahrain and NCTS Far East (at Yokosuka, Japan)
Prepare analyses of production integration, processes and systems to include reviewing and assisting in the reduction of program risk per applicable risk management plans, reviewing production
Integrate ONE-NET software products to support the deployable project in keeping with current security posture.
Minimum 6 years of experience in network management, network management of Navy C4I programs, Navy C4I programs for ONE NET
Bachelor of Science Degree or 10 years of applicable OneNet experience
System level engineering expertise and technical training to support the scope and requirements of all programs related to OneNet
Active Security Clearance Secret
Travel is required. Trips may include trips to overseas locations and embarked with the Fleet for periods up to 10 weeks, up to two to three times a year.
