Independently evaluates the functional abilities of children through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation and patient/family interview. Creates individualized treatment and educational plans, and provides patient/family counseling and training. Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory processing impairments and feeding concerns. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide services to children presenting with a variety of complex diagnoses. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, team oriented and dedicated to life-long learning.


Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program; bachelor's degree if graduated prior to 2004

Current California license in Occupational Therapy or eligible if new graduate or licensed in another state

Current NBCOT certification

Current BLS/CPR certification for Health Care Providers issued by the American Heart Association

Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational priorities


Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (OTD)

2 years of experience

Board certification in advanced practice (SWC, HTC, PAM)

Certified hand therapist (CHT)

Bilingual Spanish speaking

Pediatric experience
